Public Health Projects/Campaign
At East End Health Network 2, we are committed to enhancing the health and well-being of our community through a variety of public health initiatives and secondary care projects. Each year, we participate in a range of projects and campaigns tailored to meet the evolving needs of our patients and community.
Current Initiatives
These projects are part of our current efforts, but our involvement in public health and secondary care initiatives changes year on year to address the specific needs of our community. We are always engaged in a variety of projects aimed at improving healthcare access and outcomes for our patients.
MMR Campaign
In light of recent outbreaks, we are conducting an MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) campaign for both children and adults. Our vaccine clinics and clinical recalls are designed to ensure that everyone in our community is protected against these preventable diseases.
Communities Keeping Well
This initiative empowers local residents to take control of their health. We provide resources and education to help you and your loved ones understand long-term conditions, improve health literacy, and access the support you need. This project aims to foster a healthier community through knowledge and self-care.
Liver Screening
As part of the Community Liver Health Checks (CLHC) Pilot, we are identifying patients at high risk of liver disease and offering clinical reviews. This initiative focuses on early detection of liver cancer and connects you with the appropriate care and ongoing surveillance services.
